35th Annual Ironman® World Championship Medical Symposium

Join us for the 35th Annual Ironman®World Championship Medical Symposium – a must-attend event for medical professionals with an interest in Primary Care/Sports Medicine and treating endurance athletes at all levels.

About the Conference
The Ironman®World Championship Medical Symposium is a non-profit, accredited annual five-day Continuing Medical Education event for medical professionals with an interest in sports medicine and treating endurance athletes at all levels. The conference is the only authorized Ironman®sanctioned sports medicine conference.

Course Objectives
The purpose of this course is to present cutting-edge information in the areas of sports medicine, exercise science and common sports related injury and illness that family physicians can directly apply to the care of their active and athletic patients. At the conclusion of the course, participants will be invited to apply lessons learned to the care of athletes competing in the Ironman® World Triathlon Championships as volunteers in the Ironman® Medical tent. They will be allowed to volunteer for 4 hours in the tent under the direct supervision of the Ironman® Symposium Faculty. This 4-hour “mini-internship” allows the participant to see hands on application of the material learned in the course.

Multiple educational formats are used, including case presentations, interactive Q&A sessions, as well as live demonstrations of physical examination, anatomy, ultrasound, and arthroscopy.

2025 Pediatric Sports Medicine and Orthopedics Conference

This conference is designed for physicians, athletic trainers, physical therapists, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners who treat pediatric patients with sports medicine injuries and orthopedic problems. Attendees may choose to attend in-person or virtually on Friday where afternoon breakout tracks in Sports Medicine, Rehabilitation, and MSK Ultrasound will be available. Saturday's program is only available in-person.

10th Annual Baseball Sports Medicine: Game-Changing Concepts

Through a mix of didactic presentations, video and technique spotlights, and case-based discussions, the all-star faculty will help attendees navigate key issues in baseball sports medicine, such as:

Shoulder injuries, including rotator cuff tears, latissimus injuries, and SLAP tears
Upper extremity nerve and vascular issues, including suprascapular nerve injury, aneurysms and thrombosis, and neurogenic TOS
Non-UCL elbow injuries, including olecranon stress fractures, valgus extension overload, and ulnar nerve issues
UCL injuries, including surgical techniques, outcomes, complications, and revision
Batting injuries, including batter’s shoulder, hand and wrist fractures, and oblique strain
Knee, hip, spine, and hamstring issues, including FAI, athletic pubalgia, and ACL injuries
Ample time has been allotted during each session to give you the opportunity to ask the faculty questions. Be sure to come to the meeting with the questions you need answered to help enhance your practice!

The 8th Annual Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine Summit is be a hybrid course offering live lectures as well as a simultaneous livestream. It covers all aspects of the upper extremity including the hand/wrist, elbow, and shoulder.
